The Brief
To create large patio area close to the house, introduce new planting beds and access to the rear of the garden.
The Result
The new patio links the house to the garden while the three formal planters and gravel path cut into the paving softening the edges of the area. The informal planting wraps around the sides of the garden and cuts across the path creating a shaded seating area surrounded with planting and away from the house.
