The Brief
Our brief was to create a visual interesting garden. It had to be a low maintenance garden, one which had an area for seating and entertaining while retaining some lawn and planting.
The Result
The garden that started off felt overgrown, enclosed and small. We opened this up by removing the planting on most of the wall and painting the expossed blockwork. We moved the shed from in front of kitchen window to the back wall. We defined distinct areas of lawn, paving and planting. By putting the lawn at an angle it opened up the access to the garden. We kept the colour scheme light and simple true use of indian sandstone, matching cobbles and gold coloured gravel.
