The Brief

The owner wanted a large seating area at the end of the garden and access to it from the house.

The Result

The large deck is enclosed with raised planters of different heights. The lighting is recessed into the sleepers to create a soft ambience at night. This is connected to the house with a stepping stone and gravel path.
