The Brief
The existing garden felt enclosed and had drainage problems, taking account of this we had to create a family friendly garden with low maintenance.
The Result
A large paved area in Kandla Grey Sandstone is angled across the garden to draw the eye to the sides of the garden making it feel wider. The planting is divided between beds on different levels, to create visual interest. Moving the lawn area to the centre of the garden away from the walls and reconditioning the soil helped improve the drainage.
